In this two-part episode, we take a deep dive into the making of Superman II, starring Christopher Reeve, Margot Kidder, Gene Hackman, and Terence Stamp. Released in late 1980, this sequel to 1978's Superman the Movie earned rave reviews from both fans and critics alike, despite the film having changed directors more than halfway through production. Join us as we discuss the movie in detail, including all the behind-the-scenes turmoil that plagued the film throughout. We also take a closer look at the now famous "Donner Cut", an alternative version of the film, comprised of director Richard Donner's original footage, outtakes, and early screen tests between Reeve and Kidder.

This week's lookback features the 20th anniversary of Boaz Yakin's high school football classic Remember the Titans, starring Denzel Washington. Based on true events, the film chronicles the 1971 season of T.C. Williams High School's football team as their head coach, Herman Boone (Washington), attempts to integrate them by forcing black and white players to forge bonds both on and off the field. Team captain Gerry Bertier (Ryan Hurst) and defensive end Julius Campbell (Wood Harris) become his prime examples, as would-be-foes turned best friends.

His only way out is to agree to pull of one last big score- a vault heist at Fenway Park. Loaded with intense drama and suspense, The Town co-stars Jon Hamm, Blake Lively, and Pete Postelwaite and features Jeremy Renner in what is arguably the greatest performance of his career.

Loosely based on Cameron Crowe's teenage experiences, the film centers on 15-year-old William Miller, an aspiring rock journalist, who gets invited, sight-unseen, to write an article for Rolling Stone about up-and-coming hard rockers Stillwater, who coax him into touring with them as part of the deal. While on tour, William meets and falls in love with veteran groupie Penny Lane. The film also features outstanding performances by Philip Seymour Hoffman, Frances McDormand, Anna Paquin, Jason Lee, and a host of others.
